Northern Territory’s leading ISSF Pistol Club

Palmerston Pistol Club is the Northern Territory’s most active ISSF pistol club, located just 20 km from Darwin.

With a strong focus on sport, safety, and community, the club brings together a wide range of shooters: from juniors and beginners to experienced competitors representing the NT on the national stage.

Focused on sport and safety

Structured around Olympic and nationally recognised disciplines, PPC offers a comprehensive environment for training, development, and competition.

All sessions are conducted under the supervision of accredited Range Officers, with safety remaining the club’s highest priority. We’re proud to offer a world-class Service Shooting Range, providing the highest standards for practice and competition.

Ongoing improvements are regularly made to support competition requirements and enhance member experience.

Competitive opportunities

Palmerston Pistol Club actively supports competitive shooting at local, interstate and national levels. Members regularly represent the Northern Territory at national championships held across Australia. The club provides access to coaching, refereeing development, and pathways to high-performance participation, including Olympic-level disciplines through ISSF.

PPC is recognised for its role in hosting significant competitions, including the 2023 ISSF Pistol Australia National Championships in partnership with Darwin Pistol Club.
